Email Forwarding Service

 

Members of the UCSD Retirement Association can enroll in email forwarding service. Email forwarding allows you to use your personal email account to receive messages from your ucsd.edu email address.

For Health Sciences retirees who join the UCSD Retirement Association, the association will assist in obtaining the issuance of a new @ucsd.edu email address (often just with the insertion of a middle initial), which is then eligible for email forwarding. As the previous @ucsd.edu email account will not forward, the health sciences retiree may establish an auto-responder message on the former email, which provides the new @ucsd.edu email address. This is required per UC San Diego Health Policy No. MCP 18.1.  

Please note that, once email forwarding has been configured, you will no longer have access to any content previously stored on your UCSD account. It is recommended that you download any items you wish to maintain prior to submitting an email forwarding request form.

 

Setting Up Your UCSD Email Forwarding Service

UCSD email forwarding is one of the many benefits of being a member of the Retirement Association. Once you join the Retirement Association, you will receive an Email Forwarding Request Form by email. Please complete the form and our team will begin processing your request. 

Please allow 5-7 business days for your email forwarding to be fully set up. Once everything is ready, the Retirement Resource Center will notify you by email.
